We're taking some time-off from shooting...

Thanks for sending us emails and inquiries and I'm feeling so bad for not able to reply all of you with our quotations...as we're taking 1 year off from shooting assignments. As much as I wish to pack up my gear and participating in all the wonderful weddings, I have to take it easy and rest.
Anyway, I will still be around, doing what I love - tapping my fingers on the keyboard, writing new posts and sharing wedding ideas, and also answering your emails if you have any questions. ;) So, do stick around for my next update! :)

Blissful and Blessed. Yiaw & Yen Ching Garden Wedding

We're at the restaurant having our dinner while they're browsing through the photos. She's always with a big smile on her face, laughing and giggling when some photos captured her attention. "I'm very lucky, that I have Yiaw and my good friend to prepare most of the things for our wedding day," she said. So much of happiness that I actually saw them glowing in her eyes. Yiaw jokingly told us that he's very worried if the to-do list were checked, the few nights before the wedding, while Yen Ching was able to sleep soundly as she's rest assured. That's the reason why she enjoyed every moment as the beautiful bride throughout the wedding event. :) "You know what, she has been watching the slideshow, nearly everyday after the wedding." Yiaw continued and we laughed. We came out with the slideshow within 2 hours, as they would like to play the slideshow of morning session during the luncheon. And we're so happy that the result came out good and they like it.

It's a beautiful garden wedding, I would say. Beautiful in the sense that it's blissful and they are really blessed by everyone attended the wedding. I'm especially touched during the solemnization. Capturing their expressions through the lense, not forgetting to listen to the pastor giving his best advices and prayers. He has shared so many things he has learned throughout his marriage, even made the point clearer by expressing his love to his dearest wife. That warmed my heart that instantly. :)

"I enjoyed it so much." Yen Ching continued while staring at the screen with a contented smile. Yiaw looked at her and grinned, as he's proud that he has given her bride what every bride would have dreamt of, best memories for a lifetime.

xo :)

Make it a triple joy!

Yes, a triple joy. A ROM party of 2 couples and a birthday event. It's all held at this cultural town - Malacca and at this unique heritage hotel called Hotel Puri, on Malaysia Day. Full of celebrations wasn't it? :D It was about the same time when they decided to get registered (Nic+Cynthia, Nai+Josephine), which when Cynthia suggested why not do it together? Plus, celebrate 3 friends' birthday and friends gathering.

So many details, cheerful faces, tasty food, famous birthday cake...kept the whole atmosphere at its peak throughout the event. We're totally immersed in it, walking pass every people, seeing them chit-chatting and having fun. What's worth mentioning is, it's so great to have family and friends gathered on this day, to witness their registrations. I believe this surely means a lot to them, as everyone came from close or far to share and celebrate this special day.

We're truly honored to be part of this day. Enjoyed every single moment. :)

Really nice print outs prepared by Cynthia! Have been arranging for this session and ended up everybody's taking part in making this a fun photo-shooting session. Gotta tell you guys that you guys made our day! :D

Cultivating Ideas

Let's get down to ideas. Ideas about photo shooting. Ideas for your own shooting. What do you expect out of your pre-wedding photos? Is there any message that you want to express apart from you're getting married?

We believe there're stories behind every attachment. How both of your life cross-path and how you are amazed by each other. It's not just another story, but a story which carries the details and memories shared by both of you till the end of life. I know there're countless of things which you wish to be able to record down, make it into a movie or something :D We always encourage clients to think about something which makes them feel at ease, something they both share and love doing, or even something fun which they have never get to try out before this.

Casual photo shooting. You can spice up your casual photo shooting session by adding something artsy or try out something new together. Don't be afraid to be a little bit bold, dare to come out with striking ideas. Not to worry too much about the result as you can always discuss with your photographer to blend in with his photo shooting style. You can choose activities you both are into, shoot at the place that you both first met, take it to the crowd or shoot it privately, and bring along your collection of accessories...there're just so many things in life you both must have enjoyed doing together. What you need to do is explore it and don't be shy to be different, flaunt your love stories!

Pre-wedding. You've just got to have photos for your wedding day, especially the album, to be shared with your friends and relatives at your wedding reception. What do you wish to capture? That's the key point. It's the solemnization, vows and rings exchanging that is beautiful. When both are committed to each other on a beautiful day, that's worth capturing. The happiness that radiates when you both hold each other close, promise each other that from this moment on, you both shall hold each other as long as you both shall live. The album will then be what's worth flipping through, when friends and family see the meaningful side of your story, that you both have taken it to the next step, and going to love each other forever and ever. And we believe that's truly wonderful.

So, let's put in your ideas, capturing the best of you celebrating this stage in life, put in the efforts and you will be amazed with the photos as we believe that the result is going to turn out superb!
