We're taking some time-off from shooting...

Thanks for sending us emails and inquiries and I'm feeling so bad for not able to reply all of you with our quotations...as we're taking 1 year off from shooting assignments. As much as I wish to pack up my gear and participating in all the wonderful weddings, I have to take it easy and rest.
Anyway, I will still be around, doing what I love - tapping my fingers on the keyboard, writing new posts and sharing wedding ideas, and also answering your emails if you have any questions. ;) So, do stick around for my next update! :)

Speaking of photos...

I love still images. And I love being a photographer. There's no other words in the world except "love" which can express what I feel for images...or photos. It always trigger the human senses. Given the different backgrounds and personal experience which everyone has, different type of feelings can be aroused when looking at the same image. Guess I like this idea, that every visual perception could be personal, and then I started taking photos...and then I fell head over heels.

Love is a happy thing and getting down to shooting love is inspiring. That's why I'm here at the first place, choosing to be a freelance wedding photographer, making the step in taking this seriously. Not sure whether sentimental could be the word, cause I'm a memories collector, and easily get nostalgic most of the time. At every wedding or shooting session, I can be running around like a super lady, carrying cameras which people sometimes think girls shouldn't be carrying or could be kneeling and lying on the floor without thinking much. I'm still a simple person carrying imperfections. :) My throat walls build up each time I hear the statements about matrimony made by the priest. My hands trembled when I saw a bride cried after her ROM. I still get nervous the night before our client's wedding. Once, I fumbled through my whole playlist to find the right song for the right feeling + mood for a slide show, that we had to spend the whole afternoon rushing for the slideshow.

All the clients that we've had are wonderful who gave us the trust and encouragement that we're able to bring our works to our site. If you're looking for the perfect photographer, we're afraid that we're not the one. But if you're searching for photographers who love to share things in life, who want to shoot nothing more than what's within both of you, want nothing more than photos that ignite your reminiscence in your life - the reason why you both are in love...then you may consider choosing us. Carrying the personal experience and inspirations that we have as two individuals who are going through our lives as you are, we would like you to see the feelings we have for both of you, through our lens. The result, we fall in love with your love stories, and a series of photos belonged to both of you are captured.

When Two Hearts Meet

Received his email stating that he would love to share some of his ideas for the couple shooting, interesting idea indeed. He would love to document the love story, quoting from the beautiful comic of two people who never have met, whom always take the different path, one taking the left path while the other taking the right path. Till one day when fate then bring them together. :) Kee Meng and Sharon's would be the city version of this heart-warming story, told in this short series of photos. Expressing the love they have for each other, believing in fate which brought two people together.

When two hearts meet, everything changes, for they will never walk a seperate path.
