We're taking some time-off from shooting...

Thanks for sending us emails and inquiries and I'm feeling so bad for not able to reply all of you with our quotations...as we're taking 1 year off from shooting assignments. As much as I wish to pack up my gear and participating in all the wonderful weddings, I have to take it easy and rest.
Anyway, I will still be around, doing what I love - tapping my fingers on the keyboard, writing new posts and sharing wedding ideas, and also answering your emails if you have any questions. ;) So, do stick around for my next update! :)

Tips : Outdoor Shooting

Outdoor shooting is beautiful. Imagine a beautiful day, under the sun everything seems to be alive. At that perfectly lit location, you want to document your love, and of course to feel in love. :) After walking up and down in your lovely new heels, your feet starts aching. And then followed by sweats rolling down your face. Then you fumble for tissues to wipe them away. Suddenly you wish to end the shooting as fast as you can.

Yes, that could happen in a humid weather country. Malaysia of course is in the list. :) As we all know, nothing come close to describing it as hot sun-shiny. Doing outdoor pre-wedding / couple shooting pretty much can leave you "sweat soaking", as it would be taken during the golden hours when natural light - sunlight is abundance. :) Anyway, just grab a few of the tips below before going for your outdoor shooting, and we believe that despite the temperature, you will enjoy the whole shooting process!

Sunblock - is a must! We know how some people don't like the sticky feel but still we insist that you've got to be protected under the sun. As normally pre-wedding shooting will be taken months before your big day. We wouldn't want you to be get sun burned or worry about how soon that tanned skin will turn back to it's previous tone.

Flats/slippers - They're to minimize effect of standing or walking too much on heels. As we might be walking from spot to spot for shooting, which you can quickly switch into your flats and give your feet a break, imagine when we need to walk uphill and downhill. Blisters...out of the way! ;)

Water and towel - With the humid weather, the sweats are going to make their way down your cheeks, and you're going to feel as if you're in the sauna. :D Take a break in between to touch up your makeup and refresh yourselves. Think about the end result - photos that last a lifetime, they're worth the sweats. ;)

Outfit, Props and Shoes - Choose your outfit, express your style and personality. Props, they add details to your photos and enhancing your theme. They're going to play a part in making your photos different and...yours.

Make a small list of this little things a week before, load them all in a handy bag and you're good to go. That's how we want you to be, to be prepared and in a ready state of mind. The rest is...you can totally throw yourself into the shooting and express your love! :)
